Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance by adding a specified trisazo pigment to a charge generating layer and a specified anthracene compound to a charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer contg. a triphenylamine type trisazo pigment represented by formulaIis formed on an electrically conductive support. A charge transferring layer contg. an anthracene compound represented by formula II[where R1 is H or halogen, R2 is H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, dialkylamino or (substituted)diaralkylamino, and R3 is H, alkyl or halogen]is then formed on the charge generating layer. Thus, an electrophotographic receptor having flat high sensitivity over the visible range and the range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance is obtd.
