Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity even in the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and maintaining the stability even after repeated use by adding a specified trisazo pigment to a charge generating layer and a specified pyrazoline compound to a charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:When a laminate type electrophotographic receptor is manufactured by forming a charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer on an electrically conductive support, to the charge generating layer is added a trisazo pigment represented by formulaIand to the charge transferring layer is added a pyrazoline compound represented by formula II (where each of R1, R2 and R3 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, dialkyl-amino or halogen; and n is 0 or 1). In a copying process where charging, exposure, development, transer and cleaning are repeated, even after repeating these stages, the resulting receptor undergoes no change in the characteristics, and it shows high sensitivity even in the wavelength range of a laser.
