Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide flat high sensitivity to a receptor over the whole visible range and the wavelength range of a semiconductor laser and to enhance the endurance by adding a specified trisazo compound to the charge generating layer and a specified divinylbenzene compound to the charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:A triphenylamine type trisazo pigment represented by formulaIis added to a charge generating layer, and to a charge transferring layer is added a compound represented by formula II[where R is carbazolyl, pyridyl, thienyl, indolyl, furyl, (substituted) phenyl, (substituted) styryl or (substituted) anthryl, and the substituent is dialkylamino, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, aralkylamino or amino]. A laminate type photoconductive layer composed of said layers is formed on an electrically conductive support to obtain an electrophotographic receptor having high sensitivity over the whole visible range and the range of a semiconductor laser and superior endurance.
