Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of temperature control of supply water, by a method wherein load variation parameters, such as detected values of quantity of water and a water temperature for return water, atmospheric temperature and a temperature of the supply water which are related to a capacity of a cooling tower are applied to an arithmetic unit, and a blower is controlled through result of operation based on a supply water temperature setting value. CONSTITUTION:A detector 11 for detection of a water temperature T1 for return water and a detector 12 for detection of quantity L of water are provided on a return water tube 2 which leads the return water to a cooling tower A from equipment, a detector 13 for detection of the water temperature T2m for supply water is provided on a supply water tube 3 and a detector 14 for detection of atmospheric water ball temperature WBT is provided in the vicinity of the cooling tower A. Then, a blower a is rotated by applying an outlet water temperature setting value T2 together with data from the detectors 11, 12, 13 and 14 to an arithmetic unit 20 and applying an instruction signal p corresponding to a controlled air flow to an electric motor M through a frequency converter 21.
