Abstract
PURPOSE: To conserve energy required for operating an air conditioner, by concentrating data relating to the living spaces of a plurality of rooms in a building to one place, processing the collected data at the center, and controlling the operation of an end unit of air conditioner in response to instructions given through comparison with reference signals stored in the control center.
CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner 1 is connected to a living space 4 via a return duct 2 and an air supply duct 3. An output signal of a temperature detector 5 is given to a temperature controller 6 which gives in turn an output signal 7. The output signal of temperature detector 5 is also given to a data processing unit 8, in which it is compared with a reference signal 9 stored in the control center. The signal obtained as the result of comparision is given as an instruction signal 10 to a receiver 11, which is turn gives an output signal 12. A driving unit 13 of the air conditioner 1 is controlled on the basis of the AND product of the above two output signals 7 and 12. Here, the peak-cut is performed for stopping operation of the air conditioner by the instruction given from the control center when the power demand is tight. Further, drawing of open air into the system is caused through comparison of the enthalpy of open air and a reference enthalpy.
