Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a comfortable air condition by a method wherein an air conditioning power of the air condition device is continuously controlled in response to a rate of variation in the indoor temperature during air conditioning operation, an excessive air conditioning is restricted and a range of variation of the indoor temperature in response to a temperature control is decreased or reduced.
CONSTITUTION: When an operation of the air conditioning device is started, a temperature signal sensed by a temperature sensor 4 is fed to the first calculator 5 and compared with a predetermined value. When there is a slight difference between these values, a temperature control is continuously performed to approach the indoor temperature to the predetermined temperature value. Then, when the indoor temperature is substantially equal to the predetermined temperature value, a rate of variation of temperature dT/dt is calculated in response to a variation of the indoor temperature dT in a unit time dt. The rate of variation of temperature is fed to the first function generator 7 in the second calculation circuit 6 to produce a signal of load QR in respect to the rate of variation. QR signal is fed to the second function generator 8 to produce a signal of a number of revolution in respect to Q signal, thereby the compressor motor 1 is controlled in response to the signal R.
