Abstract
PURPOSE:To contrive an improvement of a combustion furnace and saving of fuel, by a method wherein a high electric field is provided between an electron radiation electrode core and a receiving electrode plate, and air passing through the field is made to ionize and led to a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:An electron is radiated in a corona from a knife edge of a gear shape electron radiation electrode core of an electron radiation electrode core 7 when a fixed high voltage is applied to this ionizing device. Air flowed into from a blast nozzle 1 is ionized by a collision of the electron with an air particle when the air passes through a strong electronic field 5 of the electron radiated from the electron radiation electrode core 7. At that time, a large quantity of oxygen O3 is generated, which is further converted into a large quantity of O and O2 by a collision of the oxygen with the air particle and the radiated electron, which are entered into a combustion furnace through an outlet 6 simultaneously and combustion efficiency is improved.
