Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide excellent resistance seam weldability, rustproofness and paint adherence, by performing electrolytic treatment in a solution composing of anhydrous CrO3 as a main agent and only an F compound as an auxiliary agent, making a steel plate a cathode after Ni plating and depositing a specified amount of Cr and Cr hydrated oxide.
CONSTITUTION: A solution is made by adding 0.5W10g/l of a F compound, NaF, Na2SiF4 etc. as an auxiliary agent to the solution of which concentration of anhydrous CrO3 is 20W100g/l. The steel sheet of which the surface is provided with Ni plating 0.3W1.5g/m2 per one face is immersed in this solution and an electrolytic treatment is peformed making the steel sheet a cathode for 0.2W 10sec under current density 5W50A/dm2, at treating temperature 30W60°C. Metallic Cr 50mg/m2 and hydrated chromic oxide 5W20mg/m2 as Cr per one face are deposited on the Ni plating of the steel sheet by the electrolytic treatment.
