Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a steel plate for vessels of the performance that sufficiently lends itself to a resistance welding can making system by specifying respective layer thicknesses and film amounts, the ratio of O and S of a chromate film layer, and the ratio of a Cr-O type at the time of providing Ni, Cr, and chromate film layers on the steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: Ni plating of 0.01W0.30μm thicknesses is applied on the surface of a steel plate, and a metallic Cr layer of ≤10mg/m2 coating weight is provided thereon and further a chromate coating layer thereon. At this time, the coating weight of the lattermost is kept ≤20mg/m2 sum total with the metallic Cr layer in terms of Cr, and the S/O in the film is kept at ≤1.5 and the Cr-O type coupling/ Cr-OH all coupling of the surface at ≥0.90.
