Abstract
PURPOSE:To save fuel, while inhibiting air pollution, by recovering waste matter generated from the mixture of pulverized coal and tar, and introducing the waste matter into a blast furnace, a hot blast stove or the like to reuse the waste matter as fuel. CONSTITUTION:Waste matter containing tar or volatile components, revovered from the stack 2c of a heater 2 or the stack 3c of mixer 3 by a blower 5, is properly distributed and fed to blast pipe 7 for a blast furnace 4, an air inlet pipe 9 and a fuel pipe 10 for a hot blast stove 8 and a pipe 11 to recover exhaust gas from the blast furnace. The waste matter to the blast pipe 7 is burnt in the blast furnace 4, while the water matter to the air inlet pipe 9 and the fuel pipe 10 is burnt in the hot blast stove 8. The waste matter, having flowed into the recovering pipe 11 in company with blast furnace exhaust gas, is introduced through a dust remover into a parietal-pressure power-generator to use its latent heat, and then into a gas holder 12, a boiler 13 or the like to reuse its unburnt components in company with the blast furnace exhaust gas as combustion energy for the boiler or the like.
