Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to construct combined cycle type power generating facilities in a short construction period of time by loading the essential parts of constituting machines and apparatuses on the floating and transportable working barge, and converting the same into a package. CONSTITUTION:A working barge 1 which is floatable and transportable is provided with a ballast tank 1', and fabricated similarly as an ordinary ship within the dock in the yard. Machines and apparatuses constituting the combined cycle power plant are loaded on the building berth 1 to constitute a package P. As the above constitutent machines and apparatuses, are provided with suction facilities 2, an air compressor 3, a burner 4, a gas turbine 5, a generator 6, a steam turbine 7, a condenser 8, a starting device 9, an exhaust duct 10, a waste heat recovering boiler 11 and the like. These machines and apparatuses are respectively manufactured in the factory, and thereafter assembled and loaded on the working barge 1. The package type power generating facilities are towed on the sea up to the construction site of the power station, and installed on the construction site.
