Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the increment of loss and to suppress crosstalk, by making the use of wavelength shift characteristics and an optical reflecting matter like a reflector, etc. to the incident angle of an interference film filter. CONSTITUTION:The light lambda2 transmitted from a transmitting port 1b is reflected by an interference film filter 11 and then transmitted to a fiber from a transmitting port 1c. A part of the light lambda2 is reflected at a part connected to the fiber and traces the original optical path. A part of this light reaches a receiving port 1a via the filter 11, a reflector 13 set obliquely and the filter 11. The degree of crosstalk is extremely small under the opening conditions of the port 1c owing to the suppression in twice by the filter 11. On the other hand, the light lambda1 made incident from the port 1c via the fiber transmits twice through the filter 11 via the reflector 13 and then received at the port 1a. The spectrum limitation loss caused by the filter can be reduced since the double filter transmission characteristics are provided to the wavelength.
