Abstract
PURPOSE: To certainly release thin soft cake by permeating water between the cake adhered on a filter cloth net immersed in sludge and the filter cloth net.
CONSTITUTION: When service water sludge is charged into a sludge chamber 6 and a drain valve 24 is opened, said service water sludge is precipitated by own wt. and water is filtered into a filter chamber 22 through filter cloth nets 16, 17 and discharged through a filtrate discharge pipe 23. When cake is adhered on the surfaces of the filter cloth nets 16, 17 amd filtering capacity thereof is lowered, a discharge valve 12 is opened and a pump 11 is driven to discharge unconcentrated sludge in the sludge chamber 6 and, after discharging, the discharge valve 12 and the drain valve 24 are perfectly closed and, when water is supplied into a water passing pipe 18 and uniformly dropped into the filter chamber 20 between the filter cloth nets 16, 17 through a water supply port 19, water is dowardly flowed along the outer and the inner surfaces of the filter cloth nets 16, 17 in a film form and permeated between the cake and the filter cloth nets to reduce adhesion force of the cake to the filter filter cloth nets and the cake is fallen by own wt.
