Abstract
PURPOSE: The drainage filter which is disposed with an easy-to-clean filter on the suction side of a pump and is provided with a back washing tank on the discharge side and which is easy to clean despite filter clogging and is highly durable.
CONSTITUTION: Factory drainage 27 containing heavy metals flows into a sedimentation tank 11, where it is temporarily detained and is separated to precipitate and supernatant. The supernatant is sucked up through a filter 12 by the operation of a pump 16, by which heavy metals are removed down to the specified value or under. The filtrate then passes through a submersible pump 19 and is sent into a back washing tank 18, from which it is discharged. The one of the shape comprising spirally coiling the filter cloth containing net-form permeable layer further together with one more sheet of net-form permeable layer is used for said filter. When the filter 12 clogs upon such filtration operation for a fixed time, the signal from a control panel 22 causes the pump 16 to stop running and a solenoid valve 21 to open. It also causes the submersible pump 19 in the back washing tank to operate, by which the clean water is back flowed to the filter 12 to remove the sludge.
