Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high-precision measured value by simple structure, by providing a mounting board for a body to be measured supported by two load gauges on a slanging base pivoted at one end, a means for constraining the motion of the mounting board along the top surface of the slanging base. CONSTITUTION:On a slating base 5 which has one end pivoted on a stanchion 7 by a shaft 8 and the other end supported by a hydrualic cylinder 10 in an upwardly and downwardly movable state, load gauges 3 (3a and 3b) and 4 (4a and 4b) are arranged at intervals. Then, a mounting board 2 is supported on the load gauges 3 and 4 and a body 1 to be measured is placed and fixed on the board 2. The motion of the board 2 along the top surface of the base 5 is constrained by a rod 6. The weight of the body is measured with the base 5 held horizontal and the center of gravity of the body 1 in a plane is found from measured values from the load gauges 3 and 4. Then, the base 5 is slanted and the weight is measured; and the height H of the center of gravity is found from the measured values of the load gauges 3 and 4, the angle of inclination, and the weight of the body 1.
