Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent slipping between a pair of rolls sandwiching an iron plate and the iron plate by disposing a magnet on the peripheral surface of the roll which is connected to a driving part out of said rolls and connecting the other roll to a length measuring device. CONSTITUTION:The rotating force of a servomotor 6 is applied with gears 18a, 18b, 18c to one roll 20 out of a pair of rolls 2a, 20 sandwiching an iron plate, and a length measuring device 9 is connected to the other roll 2a. A rubber magnet having a width wider than the width of an iron plate 1 is wound on the peripheral surfce of the roll 20. The roll 2a is pressed to the plate 1 by an air cylinder not shown to sandwich the plate 1 with the rolls 2a, 20 and the motor 6 is run to revolve the roll 20. Therefore, the plate 1 is fed without slipping simply by pressing the roll 2a lightly to the plate 1.
