Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a good electrophotolithographic printing material by coating a dispersion for formation of electrophotographic layers forming a coating surface having specific Bekk smoothness on a conductive paper substrate via its precoating layer thereby forming a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:If a dispersion prepd. by dispersing 100pts.wt. inorg. granular photoconductive material (ZnO, etc.) and 10-40pts.wt. binder resin (acrylic resin, etc.) in a solution is coated on a substrate having Bekk smoothness of infinite values, the surface of about 1,000-4,000sec Bekk smoothness is exhibited, and the highest balance of photosensitivity and adhesive strength is obtained. Such dispersion for formation of electrophotographic layers is coated on the surface of the precoating layer on a conductive paper substrate, whereby a photoconductive layer is obtained. The Bekk smoothness of the surface thereof ranges at about 500-1,500sec, and the sensitivity, tone, ink receptivity, print resisting power, etc. of electrophotolithographic printing materials are improved.
