Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the production of nitrogen oxides by setting the amount of supply of gas containing oxygen for primary combustion so that the combustion gas may contain a relatively small amount unburned gas by setting the amount of supply of gas containing oxygen for secondary combustion so that a perfect combustion can be achieved. CONSTITUTION:The amount of air for primary combustion to be supplied by a burner 2 is adjusted so that the combustion gas emitted from a combustion chamber 3 may contain a relatively small amount of unburned gas. Further, the amount of air for secondary combustion to be supplied by an auxiliary burner 10 is set to ensure that the unburned gas from the combustion chamber 3 can be perfectly burnt by the secondary combustion. Consequently, the production of nitrogen oxide can be suppressed effectively and securely.
