Abstract
PURPOSE:To coal slowly and solidify a fusion under a proper condition which ensures that a desired strength can be obtained by a method wherein the outlet of a fusion discharge path is closed so as to reserve the fusion on the outlet side of the fusion discharge path and the reserved fusion is intermittently discharged. CONSTITUTION:An outlet 8a of fusion discharge path is closed by refractories 12 such as bentonite etc. so as to reserve the fusion in a reservoir portion 8b, and the reserved fusion is maintained so as not to be solidified by the heating action of the conbustion gas and a heater 11. When a proper amount of fusion is reserved, the refractories 12 are removed thereby to supply the fusion into a molding container 13. Then, the outlet 8a is closed again by the refractories 12, and also the fusion in the container 13 is cooled slowly and solidified. Consequently, it becomes possible to cool slowly and solidify the fusion under a proper condition which ensures that a desired strength can be obtained. Further, it is possible to prevent effectively to prevent the open air from flowing into a fusion discharge path 3 by taking out the fusion intermittently.
