Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce generation of fuel vapor and improve a restarting characteristic of an engine, by providing a preventive means of fuel rising along the internal wall surface in a float chamber and suppressing a temperature rise of fuel in the float chamber. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 41 is formed to an internal wall surface 40 in a float chamber 4 at a position immediately above a liquid level of fuel adjusted by a float 5 and needle valve 7, and an annular fuel returning member 8 is press fitted to the groove 41. While a sloped surface 81 to the direction diagonally downward is formed to a lower surface of the member 8. Though fuel in the float chamber 4 rises along the internal wall surface 40 of the float chamber as a liquid film by the convection, its rising is immediately blocked by a stepped part 9, and the liquid film fuel is concentrated to drop down as liquid drips.
