PURPOSE: To improve the operationability, fuel cost and the prevention of noises of a car by controlling the exciting currents of an electromagnetic clutch connecting a driving shaft and an output shaft in a piston type internal combustion engine so that fixed relationship is formed between the speed of revolution of both shafts.
CONSTITUTION: The speed of revolution Ne of the driving shaft 4 is detected by means of a revolution speed detector 16, and the variable speed of revolution ±ΔNe per unit time is computes and set sliding speed Ns is set in a controller 24.
