PURPOSE: To prevent leakage of oil and to reduce an agitation loss, by a method wherein a part, where an oil discharge hole in a collar of a high-speed vertical shaft rotary electric machinery makes contact with an oil discharge hole 8b formed in a bearing runner, is widened by spot-facing and the two discharge holes are coupled together through so widened part.
CONSTITUTION: Spot-facings 9 and 10 are formed in a part where an oil discharge hole 8a machined in a collar 2 makes contact with an oil discharge hole 8b perforated in a bearing runner 3, and the discharge holes, which are coupled together, are formed into a perforation passing from the inner circumference side of the collar 2 to the outer circumference side of the bearing runner 3. This constitution permits shortening of the length in the axial direction of the collar 2 together with the shortening of the length of the part where a lubricant oil 6 makes contact with the collar 2 and with the bearing runner 3. Additionally, even if the discharge holes 8a, 8b in the collar 2 and the bearing runner 3 are formed in a manner to be displaced in position from each other, a piercing property is maintained. As a result, a reliable oil discharge takes place, and oil leakage can thus be prevented.
