Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the creep and the fretting corrosion by providing a lubricating hole in a rotating shaft having an opening at the location where an inner ring and the rotating shaft are fitted.
CONSTITUTION: An oil hole 24 and a circular groove are provided on a clutch shaft 3 at th location about middle of an inner ring 2 of the bearing with the said oil hole 24 being connected to a lubricating oil feed hole 22 to feed the lubricating oil into the gap between the fitted part from the circular groove 23 via the oil hole 24 to form a film between the inner ring 2 and the cluth shaft 3. The creep is prevented by the squeeze film effect of this film and the oxidation is also prevented as the load is transmitted via the film without making a metal-to-metal contact and as the surface is covered by the film thereby preventing the pretting corrosion.
