Abstract

PURPOSE:To stably vary the rotating speed of an induction motor with a simple circuit by setting a constant slip state even at the time of varying the speed of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A variable voltage and variable frequency controller VFC is provided at the power source side of an induction motor IM. A speed operational amplifier SOP obtains a difference between the speed signal detecting the rotating speed of the motor IM and a speed instruction signal, and a current operational amplifier IOP obtains the primary current of the motor IM based on the output and an exciting current setting signal, thereby controlling the output voltage of the controller VFC. An adder ADD adds the speed signal and a slip amount signal based on the output of the amplifier SOP and controls the output frequency of the controller VFC. A comparator CP negatively feeds back a primary current detected from the output side of the controller VFC to the amplifier SOP, a differential circuit DF differentiates the output of the adder ADD, and negatively feeds back it to the amplifier SOP.
