Abstract
PURPOSE:To center a laser measuring device with good accuracy in a short time in displacement measurement using laser by using a beam displacement detector in place of a reflecting mirror mounted to an object to be measured and adjusting a beam source then mounting the reflecting mirror and adjusting the same. CONSTITUTION:An object 1 to be measured is placed in the position of an alternate long and two short dashes line along a sliding plane 2, and a beam displacement detector 6 is mounted in place of a reflecting mirror 5. The positions of a laser head 3 and an interferometer 4 are adjusted so as to irradiate the beam to the center of the beam displacement detector. When the object 1 is moved by a max. measurement distance L to the position of a solid line and the mounting angles of the head 3 and the interferometer 4 are so adjusted that the beam falls onto the center of the beam displacement detector, the beam parallels to the measuring axis O1O2. The mirror 5 is mounted in place of the beam displacement detector, and the mounting position and angle of the reflecting mirror are so adjusted that the reflected light at the reflecting mirror returns to the laser head 3 at the prescribed centering accuracy.
