Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an exceesive combustion speed, by stopping or reducing a feed of auxiliary fuel to an engine at high temperature further low load operation of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A fuel atomizer 7 constitutes an auxiliary fuel feed device, partitioned by a partition 11 from an intake passage 4 and provided with an ultrasonic vibrator 13. High frequency voltage is applied to this ultrasonic vibrator 13 by a control circuit 23, in this way, an atomized amount of fuel is controlled. Further a temperature sensor 51, detecting cooling water temperature, and load sensor 52, detecting a load condition, are connected to a control circuit 53, and this control circuit 53, when cooling water temperature is at least a prescribed value with a load not more than a prescribed value, cuts out a relay 54 to stop or reduce operation of the vibrator 13 and cut off auxiliary fuel.
