Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent outflow of fuel and eliminate response delay in a carburetor where a low speed fuel feed passage is provided from the branch point of a main fuel feed passage, by arranging a cut off position to a main nozzle part. CONSTITUTION:A shut-off valve 17 is provided on the half way of a main nozzle 4, that is, immediately before a mixture, formed in a main air bleed 3, flows out to a venturi 6. An electric signal from a crank angle detector sensor 23, throttle sensor 24, car speed sensor 25, water temperature sensor 26, etc. in an engine 22 is input to an electronic control circuit 21, and control outputs of shut- off valves and auxiliary fuel valve are output to the shut-off valves 17, 18, 19 and auxiliary valve 15. When the engine is changed its operating condition from low speed fuel to main fuel, the shut-off valve 17 is operated to remove unstable and ununiform ranges and feed fuel by the auxiliary fuel valve 15 to a range of stable operation.
