Abstract

PURPOSE:To save fuel consumption by inputting accelerator opening and vehicle speed and controlling change gear ratio so as to make the operation stay at an operating point of a preset operating line and also by compensating the operating point according to the levelling of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic circuit 3, which controls a fuel injection valve, an electromotive actuator and a pulley actuator (a change gear ratio controller) is provided and at the same time an accelerator opening sensor, vehicle speed sensor and a levelling sensor are also provided. And the change gear ratio controller is controlled based on detected signals from the accelerator opening sensor and the speed sensor in such a way that those operation data may be positioned at an operating point on an operating line set beforehand in the arithmetic circuit 3, and at the same time the operating point may be compensated according to detected signal of the level sensor. By this, operation can be controlled in a way to use the most high efficient operating area only.
