Abstract

PURPOSE: To concentrate an org. substance without degrading permeability for water and excluding feasibility of the org. substance by concentrating a polution of the org. substance to above its solubility by using a reverse osmotic membrane, and returning the separated water to FST liquid.
CONSTITUTION: The aq. org. soln. of 50W350mol.wts. and 0.1W20g solubility in 100g water is supplied to an RO module 4 using a reverse osmotic membrane of ≥80% excluding rate of the org. substance from a fore stage 1 through a pump 3 under the conditions under which the flow speed of raw liquid on the membrane surface attains ≥30cm/sec, whereby it is separated to concd. liquid and permeated water. Permeated water 5 is flowed to discharge water as it is or reutilized. On the other hand, concd. water 6 is transferred into a separating tank 7, where it is separated to satd. liquid 9 and org. compds. 8. The liquid 9 is returned to a storage tank 2 for raw liquid. According to this method, the reconcn. stage for the concd. liquid is eliminated and this method is practicably, adoptable.
