Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the recovery rate while maintaining the concentration of permeated liquid by separating the raw liquid supplied by a high-pressure pump in a reverse osmosis unit and supplying this separated concentrate as raw feed liquid to the other reverse osmosis unit thereby separating the same. CONSTITUTION:The sea water being raw liquid passes through a pump 2 and raw liquid feed line (high pressure) 3 from a raw liquid feed line (low pressure) 1 and first arrives at the unit I.8 out of the reverse osmosis units. Here, the sea water is separated to permeated liquid and concentrated liquid. The permeated liquid is taken out as product to outside the system from take out line 5. On the other hand, the concentrated liquid in the unit I.8 passes through connecting line 10 and is fed as original feed liquid into the unit II.9 of the reverse osmosis units. Here, it is further separated to permeated liquid and concentrated liquid. The concentrated liquid flows to outside the system from take out line 6 and the permeated liquid passes through the circulation line 11 and is mixed in the sea water being the raw liquid of the unit I.8.
