Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the decrease in permeating luminous flux in long-term opeation by deciding the time of cleaning of adsorbing materials in accordance with the time for the decrese in permeating luminous flux.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid Ld to be treated is once stored in a raw water tank 1, and is fed via valves 3, 4 to a module 5 by a high pressure pump 2. The permeated liquid is taken out through a detector 6 for amt. of permeated liquid, and the concd. liquid is taken out through valves 7, 8. The detector 6 outputs a detection signal to a controller 9 when the amt. attains the 80% liquid permeating amt. at the start of operation. On receiving this signal, the controller 9 stops the pump 2, and at the same time, changes over the valves 3, 8. The valve 3 is changed over from the pump 2 side to cleaning liquid side, and the valve 8 to the raw water tank 1 side. Further, the valve 11 is changed over to an industrial water tank 12 side, to force out the liquid to be treated from the inside of the module 5. Thence, the valve 11 is changed over to a cleaning liquid tank 13 side to clean the inside of the module 5.
