Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a concentrated liquid which can be recovered as an electrodeposition paint liquid and a permeated liquid with reduced BOD and COD by passing a discharged regeneration liquid containing electrodeposition paint components through a reverse osmosis membrane separation apparatus and circulating the obtained concentrated liquid to the above described apparatus again.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid to be treated stored in a receiving tank 2 is pressurized by a pressure pump 10 through a heat exchanger 8 and a micron-filter 9 and supplied to a reverse osmosis membrane separation apparatus 4 to start the first stage concn. The liquid concentrated by the apparatus 4 is returned to the tank 2 and mixed with a liquid to be treated to be again circulated to the apparatus and, during this time, the permeated liq. is sent to a permeated liq. tank 17. When a predetermined amount of the permeated liq. is stored, it is sent to a biologically treating apparatus 21 and mixed with an NH3 type discharged regeneration liquid from a pipe passage 26 to be biologically treated and discharged. When the liquid level in the tank 2 is reduced to a medium level, the receiving of the concentrated liquid is switched to a concentrated liquid tank 14 and the concentrated liquid stored in the tank 14 is again circulated to the apparatus 4 to be proceeded to the second stage concn. When the liquid within the tank 14 is reached to predetermined concn. by the second stage concn., a valve 11 is opened and the liquid in the tank 14 is returned to an electrodeposition bath by a booster pump 6.
