Abstract

Between the storage tank 2 and the treating tank 7, an enclosed tank or an expanded part having enlarged cross section 16 is provided to the connecting pipe so that the sludge and mixed with the flocculant is stagnated in the expanded portion 16 and thereby the sludge can not pass through the pump 3 during the supply period of the sludge.
