CONSTITUTION:The secondary air to an exhaust system is introduced into an expansion chamber 26 in the upper stream of a nonreturn valve 28 from an air intake part 34 arranged along a suction pipe 23 of an air cleaner 20 via a duct arranged along the external wall of the air cleaner 20, and supplied to the exhaust system via a filter 31, the nonreturn valve 28, and a supply pipe 27. In this construction, even if the duct is shaped to be narrow to increase the effect of silencing, since the air intake part 34 is arranged in a receiving part of air-supplying dynamic pressure, the secondary air can be supplied sufficiently.
