Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply and practically detect torque by a method wherein the phase difference angle between a resultant phase current and a rotary field axis is obtained and an arithmetic process is performed. CONSTITUTION:A torque command and a magnetic flux command generated from a pattern generator 13 and the output in a torque magnetic flux detector 11 are compared by substracters 14, 14' and the deviation signal is supplied to controllers 15, 15' and controlling signals are sent so that the deviation signal may be obtained in accordance with the command from the pattern generator 13. A slip frequency command is fed by supplying a torque output signal to a function generator 16 and the frequency command of an inverter frequency is fed from an adder 17. And the magnitude command of the resultant currrent in a motor 3 is obtained from a function generator 16' to generate a voltage command from the controller 15''. A rectifier 9 performing torque control, a rotary magnetic field axis operator 10, and a torque magnetic flux detector 11 are provided and a resultant current obtained by rectifiying a phase current is analysed into a component generating torque and that genrating magnetic flux to obtain the product of these two components.
