Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the control of the torque of an induction motor stably at a high speed by controlling the phase in response to the variation in the width of the output current of a frequency converter and supplementing the control delay of the current amplitude with the phase control. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an absolute value circuit 23 for calculating the vector sum of the primary current component of an induction motor and the current component perpendicularly crossing the primary component, a fundamental wave amplitude detector 24 for detecting the fundamental wave amplitude of the primary current, a function circuit 27 for calculating the arc sine from the instructed values of the amplitude obtained from the detector 24 and the components of the secondary magnetic flux of the primary current and the component perpendicularly crossing the secondary magnetic flux, and a secondary magnetic flux phase detector 5 for detecting the instantaneous rotation phase angle of the secondary magnetic flux. The output of the circuit 23 is used as the amplitude command, and the signal obtained by adding the outputs of the circuits 27 and 5 is used as a phase command and is supplied to a frequency converter 2.
