Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically correct the unbalance of current in a motor by controlling the DC component of the current to become zero and controlling the amplitude of the current to coincide at the respective phases.
CONSTITUTION: This controller consists of current detectors 8, 12, 13 for detecting the currents in respective phases, speed magnitude discriminator 14 for generating a signal when the rotating speed is less than predetermined value, and an arithmetic circuit 15. This arithmetic circuit 15 adds DC bias signal to a current command signal in response to the signal integrated at the detection signals of the currents in the respective phases and alters the amplitude value of the current command signal in response to the integrated amount of the difference between the absolute values of the detection signals at respective phases and the signal thus added with the respective signals. Thus, it can eliminate the unbance of the currents in the respective phases with the DC components contained in the output current of the converter to thereby reduce the torque pulsation.
