Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform reception at some station by a receiver which automatically sweeps and select the reception station, by increasing a sweep speed where no reception state resides, and then stopping the sweep at the reception station securely even when the sweep is high by reducing the sweep speed as the reception station comes close. CONSTITUTION:For the reception of some broadcast during the reception of another broadcast, when an up sweep key among input keys 9 is operated, a control circuit 5 increases the frequency division ratio data of a programmable frequency divider 2 by one and then the oscillation frequency of a voltage-controlled oscillator 3 is increased by 50kHz to start searching for whether there is a broadcast or not. After data conversion, the control circuit 5 discriminates wheher a stop signal S1 is generated at a sweep stop signal input terminal T1 or not and when there is not the signal S1, the frequency division ratio data is increased again by one to set a 50kHz higher frequency. When a broadcast arrives at a frequency (f), a stop signal S1 is detected at a f-150kHz frequency and a sweep is stopped for a prescribed time; and then the presence of a stop signal S2 is discriminated and the frequency division ratio is increased by one to set a f-100kHz frequency. Thus, an stepwise advance is made up to the frequency (f) and the sweep is stopped by the signal S2.
