Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the noise and silence at the time of switching a band by storing a frequency received until a receiving band is switched and starting sweeping from the stored frequency at the time of returning to the band again. CONSTITUTION:During the receiving of 1000kHz of AM, when an FM band key 10 is operated, a writing signal W1 and an AM address signal AD1 are generated and 1000kHz is stored into an AM address. By the output of a delaying circuit 15, an FM address is selected, and the contents of the FM address are preset to a sweeping counter 6. Consequently, for example, when the data of 80.0MHz are stored, the station of 80.0MHz is received. At the time of receiving other frequency, a sweeping pulse generating circuit 8 is operated by a starting key 17, the value of the sweeping counter 6 is made variable, and the sweepage is executed with the frequency during the reception as a starting point. For example, during the reception of 85.0MHz, an AM band key 13 is pushed, and then, the data of 85.0MHz are stored and 1000kHz of AM is received. Thereafter, in the same way, the frequency before the band is switched is received. Thus, the noise and silence at the time of switching the band are prevented.
