Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the occupation ratio, occupied time, etc. of a main storage device and improve the whole efficiency of an electronic computer system by providing a data buffer in an auxiliary storage device and shifting data only within the auxiliary storage to execute copying. CONSTITUTION:Initially read data is stored in a buffer memory 11 through an input bus 6. At the time, an address register 12 is set to ''0'', ''1'' is added to the address of the register 12 in every input of the succeeding data to the memory 11 and, when the final data is inputted, a control circuit 4 shunts the value of the final data to an address register 13. A comparator 14 compares the values between the registers 12 and 13 and, when both the values coincide with each other, an FF15 is turned to ''1''. In case of dissidence, ''1'' is added to the value of the register 12 and the succeeding data output is prepared. After completing the reproduction equivalent to 1 track, the value of a track counter 3<2> is turned to ''-1'' to prepre the next data output and the reproduction is completed when the value is turned to ''0''.
