Abstract
PURPOSE:To smoothly pick up a vessel group when the vessel group of the uppermost layer in horizontally arranged plural vessel groups is successively picked up from a vessel unit built in layers in plural stages, by providing lead plate devices longitudinally movable toward a sheet and position controlled. CONSTITUTION:When a layer built vessel unit 20 is conveyed from a suitable place and placed on a lift device 57 in the lower part of an empty place 21, the vessel unit 20 is lifted to a position in which a sheet 41, supporting a vessel group 40 of the uppermost layer, comes to be an equal level to a lead plate 31. Then a lead plate device 22 is moved righward, and stopped when a detecting member 33 is adapted to a vessel group 40 of the next layer. At this time, the lead plate 31 is moved to a side of the vessel unit 20 and placed in a position adapted to the sheet 41. Simultaneously, a holding device 42 is operated to hold and fix a rear end of the sheet 41 with a movable pawl 54. Then a traverser 6 is moved rightward, if its holding plate 10 holds the vessel group 40 of the uppermost layer, the traverser 6 is moved leftward to transfer the vessel group on a conveyer belt 18.
