Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase discharge efficiency by a method wherein an electrical contact between a formed anode and a cell case is improved and proper tightness is given to a component for power generation. CONSTITUTION:To power collection of the anode is carried out by the contact between the anode 7 and the inside surface of an anode collector 9, and the contact between the bottom surface of the anode collector 9 and the inside bottom surface of a cell case 3. The anode collector 9 has a L-shaped cross section and a conical inclined portion 9'. Since the bottom of the collector is provided with a bulge by a portion to be inwardly folded and since the portion to be folded is supplied with elastic quality, that portion absorbs the variation of the thickness of the component within the cell, so that the portion keeps proper the pressure generated by the contact between the formed anode and the cell case at all times, and eases the pressure which works to outwardly deform the sealing plate, eliminating the deformation of the cell caused by its expansion during the sealing process.
