PURPOSE:To prevent excessive exposure, halation, etc. and thereby to obtain an excellent picture constantly by detecting the intensity of radioactive rays transmitted by a body to be inspected and by controlling an output of the radioactive rays in accordance with the intensity. CONSTITUTION:X-rays 2 from alinac unit 1, which are transmitted by a body 3 to be inspected, are transduced into a light by a scintillator 4 and then is supplied to a camera 10 through an imaging lens 9. A light image obtained by the camera 10 is projected on a reflecting unit 11. A detector 12 detects the intensity of the X-rays 2 reaching the scintillator 4 and delivering a signal according to the intensity to a control unit 13. Then, the control unit 13 delivered a control signal (a) to control an output of the linac 1 so that the intensity of the X-rays on the scintillator 4 be optimum constantly. By preventing excessive exposure, halation, etc. in this way, an excellent picture can be obtained constantly.
