Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to simplify the adjustment and to avoid anxiety of exposure, by providing a plurality of the scintillators and photo electron multipliers optically coupled, and providing the resistor adjusting the voltage fed to the photo electron multipliers.
CONSTITUTION: The detector 2 is fitted at the flange 1a of the cylinder 1 shutting external light, and the light source 3 is provided at another end of the cylinder 1. The light source 3 is located with the same state as the X-ray source of the CT unit, and light is incident toward the collimeter 4 only with the shutter 5. When the light source 3 is illuminated, it is directly emitted in the incident plane of the detector 2 consisting of a plurality of scintillators 21, PMT22, light guide 23 optically coupling the both, resistor and case 24. Each resistor is operated depending on the output state of each PMT22 and adjustment is made so that each output can be the same. Since adjustment can directly be made while observing the output state of the detector 2, the adjustment can simply be made in a short time and no exposure to X-rays is made.
