Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide high electric resistance and high toughness to a compacted alloy consisting of powder of an Ni-Cr alloy with high toughness and powder of an Fe-Cr-Al alloy with high resistivity by giving alloying bond only to the boundary between the powders.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture consisting of ≥10wt% powder of an Ni-Cr alloy with high toughness contg. 69W90% Ni and powder of an Fe-Cr-Al alloy with 160W<200μΩcm resistivity is compacted to form an alloy body. At this time, alloying bond is given only to the boundary between the powders, and metallic structures obtd. by separately compacting the powders are left at the other parts. Thus, the compacted alloy can be converted into an alloy with ≥150μΩcm resistivity and high toughness at room temp.
