Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce brake noises and unbalanced abrasion of a brake lining by forming spikes irregularly along the circumference outside the brake face of a pressure plate. CONSTITUTION:When a control lever is rotated to press a pressure plate 16, a lining plate 13 gets into contact under pressure with a clutch disk 5 rotating together with an output shaft 4 of the engine to rotate a rotary body 11. On the other hand, when the pressure plate 16 is released, it presses and separates a rotating lining plate 13 from the clutch disk 5 for braking. Spikes 29 are formed irregularly by press, etc. along the circumference outside the brake face 16c of the pressure plate 16.
