Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the allowable load so high as compared with the size of a Belleville spring and to miniaturize a coupling by placing a cylindrical spacer in such a condition as the protruding end of confronting spring seats being inserted therein. CONSTITUTION:The first hub 21 and the second hub 28 are arranged so as to make flanges 23, 30 to face each other and a cover 35 is fixed on the flange 30 so as to enclose the first hub flange 23. In this way, the long hole 24 of a first hub flange 21, the notch 31 of a second hub flange 30, and the notch 39 of the cover 35 are placed in array so as to open along the axial direction, forming an accommodation space 60 for a spring seat 45 and a Belleville spring 50. Two sets of the spring seat 45 and the Belleville spring 50 are inserted in the accommodation space 60 so as to place the axis of the spring in such a condition as being extended along the tangent direction of each flange and as sandwiches a spacer 52 placed between them.
