Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to shorten the length of a main revolving shaft of a turbo-generator accompanying the small whole length and dimensions of the turbo-generator by a method wherein a rotor and a turbine disc are combined with the main shaft serving as an integral body in common use for the axes of turbine and generator. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 10 of a generator is rigidly connected with one common- use main revolving shaft 9 constituting an integral body, and also a turbine disc 11 is rigidly attached to the shaft on its lefthand end. Furthermore, No.1 bearing 12 is installed between the generator rotor 10 and the turbine disc 11, and No.2 bearing is installed on the righthand end to support the common axis 9. With this structure, since any coupling is not used with adpotion of the common axis 9 integrated into one body, the whole length of the turbine generator can be saved by a length corresponding to the dimension of a coupling.
