Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent generation of drain in an oil cooled compressor, by simplilfying the control system by making it unnecessary to provide an auxiliary pressure switch operated at a high pressure esspecially through provision of a pressure switch that functions also as an auxiliary switch, and raising the temperature of oil as fast as possible. CONSTITUTION:When pressure in a compressed-air storing tank 8 is raised to a predetermined maximum level through operation of a compressor 1, a pressure switch 19, functioning also as an auxiliary pressure switch and serving to simplify the control system, is opened but current supply to a motor 2 is continued since a temperature switch 21 is closed, so that the compressor 1 is driven continuously. However, since the pressure switch 19 is closed, a solenoid valve 20 is opened and an unloader valve 3 in an oil tank 6 is actuated for carrying out unloader operation, so that oil is heated continuously. When oil is thus heated to a certain temperature at which drain is not produced, the temperature switch 21 is opened and operation of the motor 2 is stopped.
