Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled resin material having excellent light transmittance and heat retaining property for agricultrual use, and suitable as a film for a plastic greenhouse, etc., by compounding a transparent synthetic resin with powdery phosphate glass powdery borosilicate glass.
CONSTITUTION: A transparent synthetic resin (e.g. polyethylene) is compounded with (A) a powdery phosphate glass composed of 99W10mol% P2O5, 1W60mol% alkali metal or alkaline earth metal oxide, and 0W50mol% oxide selected from Al2O3, B2O3, SiO2, TiO2 and ZnO, and having particle diameter of ≤50μ, and (B) a powdery borosilicate glass composed of 10W80mol% SiO2, 5W50mol% B2O3, 1W 60mol% alkali metal or alkaline earth metal oxide, and 0W40mol% Al2O3, ZnO and/or TiO2, and having particle diameter of ≤50μ. The weight ratio of (A)/(B) is 1/10W10, and the amount of the additive is generally ≥1.0wt%, and 1.0W30wt% for film or sheet.
